I just posted a long winded final post in the group flight section on about page 14 or 15. When I hit the post button I got four copies of my post, horror!! When I attempted a delete on the three unnecessary versions the whole thtead disappeared!!. Sorry guys but I dunno wot happened?

I managed to fix the problem by making an adjustment to a field in the database. I wouldn't have thought permissions allowed for the deletion of an entire thread but doubt if that's what happened anyway. It seems as though something in the database went out of sync.
Anyway, if you let me know which post you want to stay on the Forum I'll delete the others through MySQL.
BTW, thanks heaps for your kind words, especially about the VA. Much appreciated, Captain Power

I wish to delete duplicates of my last post Monday 13 Aug 12:31 am. Obviously keeping only one for all to read.
Have a look for the post in which I ask you to "delete this post" too.
